Eccleshall Cancer Warriors have met to put in place steps to make us an official Community Group.
We now have a committee consisting of a Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer and we are in the process of setting up a bank account. This will mean we will be able receive donations from the general public. We can then financially support members of our local community going through cancer, as well as continuing to offer social and emotional support with our regular meet ups.
We will have Annual General Meetings and a written constitution with clear aims and policies on privacy and safeguarding.
More excitingly, we now have a fabulous new website! Thanks to Becky from Eccleshall Community Amateur Dramatics (ECAD) we have a place where people can find out all about us, our next meet ups, fundraising and how we can help them. We also have an email address – eccleshallcancerwarriors@aol.com
This will be a really useful tool to help us reach out and help as many people as possible and provide information in an easily accessible way.
Our facebook group will Continue to be an active space for our supporters and members to find out what we are up to and that leads us on to announcing our next three meet ups.

Saturday 26th November 7pm.
Our first fundraiser working in collaboration with Eccleshall Community Amateur Dramatics. This is sure to be a fun night so please come along and support us.
Tickets available at the Royal Oak, Eccleshall High Street.
· December meet up at Eagle House Eccleshall Bed and Breakfast.
Thursday 15th December ,6-8pm.
Mince pies and tea and coffee will be served as well as a tour around the house for those that are interested. Come and meet us for an informal chat and find out more about us.
· January meet up at the Royal Oak Eccleshall
Tuesday 24th January 12:30pm- 2:30pm.
An afternoon drink in the snug of this cosy pub. Come and meet new friends in a supportive atmosphere.
As you can see, we have tried to provide something for everyone, with events at different venues and times and on different days. We are also very keen to hear from you about what events you would like us to arrange and when and where suits you. How can we help you?
